About
Hello and welcome to Synergy Strength Co! I'm so glad you're here.
A little back story on Synergy Strength Co and your trainer, Whitney.

Synergy Strength Co:
Synergy Strength Co was started by me, Whitney, in 2025. After working as a Personal Trainer at a local gym for over 2 years, I always felt the desire to start my own company. I wanted to start a company that focused on functional movements, building flexibility and mobility, and building a sustainable nutrition plan that promotes balance and longevity. From my own experience, I know starting your journey towards health and wellness can seem daunting. My goal is to walk alongside you, educate you, and encourage you to be the best version of yourself!

Synergy Strength Co doesn't provide cookie cutter workouts or the same workouts for each person. Synergy Strength Co prides itself on meeting 1-on-1 with each client, assessing their needs, and creating a customized workout plan that targets both their strengths and weaknesses. Same goes with the nutrition plan- you will meet with your trainer for an initial consult and evaluate where you are with your current nutrition. After that, your coach will create a personalized plan for you including all of your macronutrient needs. You will also receive a complementary Nutrition eBook that includes additional nutrition information, and some of Whitney's favorite recipes!

I can promise you this: If you take the step and join me, I will give you my all and be by your side motivating and encouraging you. I want you to feel confident and in charge of your health!

A bit about my own fitness journey:
I grew up with a ball in hand and played both basketball and volleyball for 11 years. Playing for both the school team, along with AAU and club ball during the off seasons, I grew a fondness with being active and the benefits of that. After my high school career ended, I decided to solely focus on college while working part-time. I soon realized I was missing something-there was a void that sports used to fill. I turned to the gym environment, not knowing where to start. I remember feeling totally overwhelmed walking into the gym that first day. However, I developed a passion for fitness, a passion that benefited both my physical and mental health. I was also hired on to work at that same gym, and worked there for about a year and a half while finishing up my college career. Now, almost 8 years later, I have grown in knowledge about what exactly it means to be “healthy”. I obtained my Certified Personal Trainer License in July 2022 and became a Certified Nutrition Coach in July 2024. Today I strive to let each person I know and train how significant it is to have a wellness routine that works for you; one that promotes good health, longevity, and happiness.

My life outside of fitness:
Outside of playing sports throughout my younger years, I grew up on my family farm where we bred and sold Myotonic fainting goats… yes, the ones that fall over. I was a tenure member of my local 4-H, and showed our goats at the fair for five years. This taught me the value of hardwork and dedication. After graduating high school, I attended a smaller IU campus for my college career, and met my now husband who went to IU in Bloomington. We both earned our college degrees, and graduated in May of 2021. I spent a year and a half working as a Social Worker, before fully transitioning my career to fitness. My husband earned his accounting license, and has been working as a CPA at a firm in Louisville, KY since. We got married in August of 2022, built a house together that next year, and have been loving life together with our two furry children by our side- Dutton (our German Short-haired Pointer) and Leroy (our cat).
